Resumaxing helps job seekers understand how software and recruiters read their resume, then fix what’s holding them back.

How our score works

The scanner is rule-based and runs in your browser. It extracts text, detects standard sections, checks contact details, measures quantified bullets and action verbs, flags layout and length issues, and, if you add a job description, measures keyword overlap. Category scores are combined with fixed weights. See the breakdown.

What it is not

It is not an official score from any employer or ATS vendor. Different employers configure their systems differently. We make no guarantee of interviews or offers.

Our principles

• Private by default. Your resume is analysed locally.
• Honest. We never encourage fabricated metrics or keyword stuffing.
• Transparent. Every finding explains why it matters.
